Hand Luggage

See what you can bring in your hand luggage?

The rules for luggage and cabin baggage vary from airline to airline. Therefore, we recommend that you take into account the specific luggage rules that the airline you are traveling with and what they allow to bring on the airplane.

Rules for liquids in hand luggage

Liquids or liquid substances in the hand luggage must be carried in containers not exceeding 100 ml.

Please be aware that certain substances stated in grams are also considered as liquid, e.g. toothpaste, cream, spread cheese, pâté, jam.

You may bring more than one container of liquid provided they all fit into one resealable plastic bag of max. 1 liter. You may only bring one of these bags.

Do you have baby food, medicine or diet of over 100 ml that you need during the trip or liquids purchased in a tax free shop (in sealed bags from the airport they are purchased and with visible receipt in the bag), it is allowed to bring these, but they must be safeguarded.

Baby food, medicine or diet food of over 100 ml that you need during the trip or liquids purchased in a tax free shop (in sealed bags from the airport they are purchased and with visible receipt in the bag) are allowed in your hand luggage, however, they must be checked in security.

You must remove all liquids from the hand luggage and place them visibly in the designated plastic box at the security check, so that the security staff can see them. You may notice that the liquids are taken for additional security checks.

The Danish Transport Agency has a page with good advice in connection with the journey.
