If you need help from the parking lot, there is also a meeting point at the parking office in the parking garage. Here they will provide pick-up and assistance for the trip.

Parking and shuttle bus
When dropping off and picking up your vehicle, there are spaces reserved for disabled people on the sidewalk at the terminal. You may park here for a maximum of 15 minutes.
There are marked parking spaces for disabled people in areas P2, P3 and P4. Should one of these areas be occupied, simply drive up to the barrier and contact p-info, after which one of our employees will guide you to your space.
In disabled parking, you have the opportunity to get a particularly attractive price, where you only pay the parking price charged at P1. However, this requires that you draw a ticket upon entering and pay at p-info upon returning home before leaving the parking area. A disabled sign must be presented at payment.
If you choose to book parking, there is no possibility of obtaining an additional discount, even if you arrive in a disabled vehicle.
Shuttle bus
If you park at P1, P2, P3, P4, P5 or P6, you can use the shuttle bus that runs between the parking areas and the passenger terminal. The shuttle bus is called by intercom from the bus stops. The shuttle bus has a low entry and a built-in ramp, making it easy for wheelchair users to get on and off the bus.
Medicine and medical equipment for the trip
You are allowed to bring medicine and medical equipment with you on your trip. There are no restrictions on whether you keep it in your checked luggage or hand luggage. However, we recommend that you keep essential medicine in your hand luggage.
When you travel with medicine, you may be asked to document the authenticity of the item. This can be done by keeping the medicine in its original, unopened packaging or by presenting a prescription.
If you are bringing medicine that contains substances that affect the central nervous system, you must be in possession of a pill passport in Schengen countries.
- The pill passport is issued at the pharmacy. Before the pharmacy can issue the pill passport, you must have a prescription from your doctor. This also applies even if it concerns medicine that is not normally subject to prescription.
- A pill passport is valid for a maximum of 30 days. If you are going to stay in a country for longer than 30 days, you should contact the embassy in question and get information on how to proceed.

Assistive devices available at the airport
At Billund Airport you can borrow a wheelchair for free. If you transfer to one of the airport wheelchairs already at check-in, you will have plenty of time to bring your own wheelchair on board the plane.
However, you also have the option of bringing your own wheelchair all the way to the gate. It is attached to a roof at check-in so that it can be loaded directly at the aircraft door. The same applies to, for example, a rollator.
If it is an electric wheelchair, it may be an advantage to switch to one of the airport wheelchairs at check-in, as it takes a little longer to load an electric wheelchair, which may need to be folded or split.
Always remember to contact the airline/travel agency if you are bringing an electric wheelchair. There may be special rules for these.
When building the terminal, emphasis was placed on making it handicap-friendly. The terminal is on three levels, and with an elevator there is easy access to all facilities for the disabled. The check-in machines are also at a height that makes them easy to use, even if you are a wheelchair user.

The image shows an illustration of how you can be assisted on board. It is easy to get from a wheelchair to the Ergoport, and you sit comfortably in it while driving to the aircraft cabin.
Stairlift
If your flight does not go to the bridge and you need to cross the apron, we have a stairlift so you do not have to climb stairs. (insert photo)
