Apply for an ID-Card for Billund Airport

Once your company has been registered at Billund Airport, the ID-Card responsible managers can begin to apply for ID-Cards on behalf of themselves and the company’s employees.

  1. The ID-Card responsible manger must fill out the ID-Card application form in collaboration with the employee in question. The application form can be downloaded here.

  2. The application form must be signed physically by both the ID-Card responsible manager and the employee in question before submission.

The ID-Card responsible manager must sign at the bottom left side of the application form, while the employee in question must sign on the right side of the application form, below the ‘Statement of Consent’.

  3. The completed and signed ID-Card application form must then be submitted to the HR Department at Billund Airport by e-mail at: ID-Kort@bll.dk

Note
The ID-Card application is valid for 4 months from the date we receive the it in our mailbox. After 4 months, the ID-Card application will be permanently deleted, and a new application will be required. If we have received the extended background check in the meantime, this will also be deleted together with the ID-Card application and will therefore also have to be submitted again.

Online Security Awareness Course
Once the HR Department at Billund Airport has received and registered the ID-Card application, the ID-Card responsible manager will receive a confirmation e-mail in return, containing information regarding the online security course. The ID-Card responsible manager must then forward this e-mail to the employee in question.

Next step
When the ID-Card responsible manager applies for an ID-Card, it is necessary to also apply for an Extensive Background Check with the Office of the Administrative Centre of the Danish Police.

This must be done for each employee applying for an ID-Card for Billund Airport.

See how to apply for an Extensive Background Check at the Danish Police here.
