How to apply for an Extensive Background Check at the Danish Police

To obtain an ID-Card for Billund Airport, you must apply for an Extensive Background Check at the Office of the Administrative Centre of the Danish Police, for each employee whom needs an ID-Card for Billund Airport.

ID-Card- and Training fees

ID-Card + e-learning Security Awareness Course: DKK 210.
Expired ID-Card (not returned to Billund Airport): DKK 600.
Lost ID-Card: DKK 600.
Temporary ID-Card: DKK 100.
Vehicle Pass: DKK 100.
Driving Course K0, K1, and K2 + e-learning Driving Course Awareness: DKK 500.
Driving Course K3, Basic Course*: DKK 1.600.
Driving Course K3, Recurrent training: DKK 500.

* The listed price includes a Danish language test if the participant does not already hold a Radio Certificate (N-BEG/N-JOR).

All prices are excluding VAT.

Your company will be invoiced per applied ID-Card; we therefore encourage prompt collection of ID-Cards.

Please note, if the ID-Card is not collected within 4 months from the date the HR Department at Billund Airport has received the ID-Card application, the ID-Card application form, Police Approval, and any online courses, will be permanently deleted from our system, and new applications will be required.

Where to collect ID-Cards?

ID-Cards are issued by the HR Department at Billund Airport's administration building.

The HR Department at Billund Airport can be found at the western end of the parking garage on the 1^st floor (facing the Airport Hotel). Do not enter the car park itself but instead enter the building in the gable opposite the departure terminal.

Parking is free for a maximum of 1 hour at P3, which is right next to the parking garage as seen on the picture right below here:
